Installing the GitHub App

From the dashboard, "Connect GitHub" starts GitHub's own App installation flow. You choose which repositories pkgr.app can access — all of them, or a hand-picked selection — directly on GitHub's side, not inside pkgr.app.

One branch per project

Each project tracks exactly one repository and branch. Want builds from more than one branch? Create a second project pointing at the same repo — each keeps its own secrets and history independently.

What this unlocks

Once connected, pushes to the configured branch can start builds automatically, and you can trigger builds manually at any time — see triggering & managing builds.

Revoking access

Revoke access anytime from GitHub's own "Installed GitHub Apps" settings. pkgr.app immediately loses the ability to read the repository or trigger workflows. Your existing build history and artifacts stay put until you delete the project yourself.
